The Story

Tell us how it all started. Why? What’s the story?

I had been with Southern Living at Home/Willow House from 2002, then in December of 2013, they decided it was time to close the company. Two of the VP’s from SLAH/WH called me to tell me about this new company they had found, and it was owned by two men that they had worked with previously.

They said it was a company that could take your photos and turn them into Memories. So, they sent me a card to see the quality and it was *exceptional. A 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 glossy card came in the mail a few days later. WOW! I was impressed! I researched the company a little more and found it interesting. So I thought, with all four men knowing each other from the past, they wouldn’t steer me wrong and I was not going in blind! On Dec 9, 2013, I enrolled in the Pro Account, thinking the first thing I would do was my Christmas Cards. I chose a template, added a photo to the front, wrote our holiday letter, in my own handwriting and Pixingo printed, stuffed, put a real stamp on it and mailed each card for me. DONE! *EASY! So I decided that this was a great opportunity for me to share Pixingo with everyone I know, and get paid to do so.

Biggest Success

What is your biggest success so far?

Sharing Pixingo with people and hearing of their success whether it be as a business owner using Pixingo or using it just for personal use. The company is great, very hands on from the CEO’s to the customer support team. They add that personal touch to your involvement with the company.

The CEO will even call new Pro’s and welcome them to Pixingo, How cool is that?

Biggest Challenge

What is the biggest challenge in your industry? What are you doing to deal with that?

The biggest challenge in my industry is getting people to understand and move towards more direct mailing. Social Media is great, but when you post your photos people see them once and then they get pushed down as more content is added.

What advice would you give to a business owner starting out in your industry that you wish you would have known going in?

When you send a card with photos on them, people tend to keep them more. Show them off and display them at home or in their office.

Surprise Tidbit

What don’t most people realize about you or your company?

Did you know sending a card with Pixingo doesn’t mean you have to show anyone it came from Pixingo. With just a couple clicks, you can replace the Pixingo logo on the back with something of your own—your logo, your picture, your website—whatever you want! Just contact me if you have any questions.

There aren’t too many choices of other companies that do what I do. I think Pixingo is top of the Line for a business opportunity and usage.
