Confession time: I’m a total history buff. It was the only class that I did well enough on my AP exams to not have to take in college (but that ended up being kind of a bummer).

Most importantly, I’m a tutor era fanatic…. which is why I am completely excited about this piece from the Delaware Art Museum: The Queens Closet by Richard Cleaver.

This has got to be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.

Fascinated with history this artist creates elaborate cabinets to capture the lives and secrets of historical figures. King Henry VIII, famous for beheading his wives when they failed to produce a male heir, reveals portraits of his six wives when compartments are opened.
