The Story

Tell us how it all started. Why? What’s the story?

I have always had a passion for decorating and setting up displays.  After selling home decor directly to customers and staging the products to market them for over 10 years, I knew it was time to take it to the next level and think bigger! I loved working with customers and wanted to help them with their staging or decorating needs, so I decided to start my own company offering staging, decorating and redesign.

Biggest Success

What is your biggest success so far?

The feedback that I have received from my clients has been my greatest success so far.  My goal is for my customers to be satisfied with the outcome and refer me to others or come back to me again for more work. Seeing this happen with my business has been amazing!

Biggest Challenge

What is the biggest challenge in your industry? What are you doing to deal with that?

I am constantly learning in this business and feel that each experience is teaching me something important about it.  I use each unique experience to build on my knowledge of the industry as well as the ins and out of running a business. I believe our biggest competitor is knowledge, everything else falls in place after that.

What advice would you give to a business owner starting out in your industry that you wish you would have known going in?

Sometimes you can’t model yourself after every suggestion you get and make it work with your business.  You really need to see what works best for you and implement it. Each business is unique and everyone brings something different to their clients.

Surprise Tidbit

What don’t most people realize about you or your company?

Since my company is fairly new, most people may think I only stage homes, but in fact, I also offer decorating and redesigns in homes, small shops, businesses and at events.
